Technical sales – Elastomers applications (EMEA)

This role is responsible for sales and new business development, based on products and solutions of Company in rubber polymer (elastomer) industry. With the focus on sales, this role also coordinates product development, technical support and marketing activity provided by other departments, identifying growth initiatives and executing the plan to expand OCSiAl’s industry presence in EMEA markets of conductive and reinforcement additives for different type of elastomers. Also responsible for the new products introduction to the market and the successful sales growth of single wall carbon (graphene) nanotubes- based materials on the European’s elastomer applications.

In particular, it is the promotion of graphene nanotubes into silicon-based elastomers (LSR, HCR, RTV) and related applications. Also other technical elastomers like specific compounds based on NBR, HNBR, EPDM, FKM are to be considered as a focus as well.

The main products of the company are TUBALL™ (SWCNT, graphene nanotubes) and TUBALL™MATRIX (SWCNT concentrates).

From the technical side of this position the successful employee must arrange initial technical support of elastomers customers who decide to use products and technologies developed by OCSiAl Group.

Reporting and key relationships

This position will report to Director of Sales and Marketing of OCSiAl Europe s.a.r.l.
The work involves constant communication with key persons of OCSiAl group in technical support. R&D and product development divisions in Europe, Russia and Asia.


Key tasks

• To increase the sales of company’s product portfolio in Elastomer industry;
• To expand the customer base in the territory;
• To meet the individually assigned quarterly and annual sales targets and KPI;
• To participate the planning and execution of TUBALL™ -based product localization strategy
• To support customers at the testing and pilot stages for new products introduction;
• To gain an in-depth understanding of the product, the technology and process, its possible applications across various sectors – to be able to grasp the prospective clients’ challenges and assist them with their trials of our products leading to commercial deployment;
• Develop and promote the Company’s brand in elastomer industry

Core skills and experience

Critical to the success in this work, the company considers the experience and intellectual flexibility of the candidate.

Degree:
• PhD or Master level degree is obligatory in one of the following areas: Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or Material Science.

Hand-on experience:
• 5 years’ experience in sales or business development or new products development in following applications and industries
o Elastomer and Silicon polymers and their upstream supply chain (filler materials, carbon blacks, polymers, waxes,etc)
o Other conductive additives for Rubber polymers Carbon Black, carbon fibers, MWCNT)

Skills:
• Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with customers at all levels – senior persons, R&D specialists, small companies, etc;
• Languages: advanced level of English (business and technical)
• Ability to work independently and as a part of multi-cultural global team
• Self-motivated and can be working at high pressure.

Études:
Niveau d'étude demandé supérieur Master (Bac+5)
Métier / domaine de formation:
