We are currently assisting one of the biggest service providers, which is actively looking to recruit a Fund Legal Manager to join its team. The company has jurisdictions all over the world and works with several different clients (global law firms, financial institutions, fund managers, …) enabling you to work on diversified files. Joining this company will enable you to collaborate and learn from experts in fund services. Moreover, the company is ideally located in Cloche d’Or allowing you to rely on public transports.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day legal and administration tasks for funds
  • Review and draft shareholder resolutions, EGM, AGM and board meetings
  • Attend board meetings and preparing minutes
  • Handle client portfolio including compliance, KYC and AML aspects
  • Handle client communication on a day-to-day basis
  • Be responsible for the incorporation of companies
  • Ensure maintenance of client data base
  • Keep the funds and related entities in legal good standing
  • Guide clients through more complex legal issues
  • Work closely with internal and external parties to ensure deadlines are met and quality is assured
  • Prepare and coordinate regular staff feedback and appraisal meetings
  • Work closely together with the implementation and onboarding teams for document review and setup of new client entities
  • Escalate and coordinate identified team/client needs and improvement points/ideas to consistently build and grow the fund services team in all aspects of the words
  • Act as a core member of the team and help maintain the company’s strong reputation

Your Profile

  • You have a Master degree in (corporate or funds) law or professional studies
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fund industry and at least 2 years in team management.
  • You are a fluent English speaker. Any additional language will be considered as an asset
  • You have strong communication skills and work well in a diverse team
  • You have an open-mind and common sense
