Industrial Designer (m/f)

Tasks:

Design new handheld 3D scanners and other hardware products from concept to production.
Create quick sketches, explore ideas, and visualize concepts through 3D renderings.
Build physical prototypes and mock-ups to test form, ergonomics, and usability.
Develop 3D CAD models, production surfaces, and presentation renderings.
Design accessories, supporting hardware, and packaging.
Work closely with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers to bring products into production.

Required skills and competence:

A Bachelor/Master degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field like architecture or mechanical engineering.
Proven industrial design experience, with products brought to production.
Confident freehand sketching and fast concept development.
Fast hands-on 3D prototyping and physical concept validation.
Experience designing handheld products, with understanding of ergonomics and UX.
Understanding of injection molding, tooling, surface development, and production- ready plastic part design.
CMF experience, including materials, finishes, textures, and product detailing.
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
