Communiqué de presse : Velooccasiounsmaart – à nouveau un grand succès !

Pour la cinquième année consécutive, la Stëmm vun der Strooss a eu le plaisir de bénéficier d’un généreux soutien dans le cadre du désormais traditionnel Velooccasiounsmaart organisé à la Belle Etoile.

Comme chaque année, et à l’initiative de Manu Konsbruck, directeur de la Belle Etoile, la Stëmm a été invitée à participer bénévolement à cet événement solidaire, en collaboration avec l’association Catch a Smile. En contrepartie, 5 € ont été reversés à chacune des deux associations pour chaque vélo vendu, permettant de récolter un montant total de 9.005 €, grâce à la vente de 1.801 vélos d’occasion, qui ont tous trouvé un nouveau propriétaire.

Dès le lancement du marché, de nombreux bénévoles se sont mobilisés dès 8h du matin dans le parking souterrain de la Belle Etoile pour réceptionner les vélos à vendre. La Stëmm a pu compter sur l’engagement de ses bénévoles internes, de lycéens, ainsi que de salariés de plusieurs entreprises partenaires, parmi lesquelles Sodexo, Fidelity International, Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola et bien d'autres encore. Tous ont uni leurs efforts dans une ambiance chaleureuse pour venir en aide aux plus démunis.

La remise officielle du chèque a eu lieu le 19 mai 2025 à la Belle Etoile, en présence de la directrice de la Stëmm, Alexandra Oxacelay. Celle-ci a exprimé sa profonde gratitude envers Manu Konsbruck pour sa confiance renouvelée au fil des années, et se réjouit d’ores et déjà à l’idée de participer à la prochaine édition.

Bereits zum fünften Mal in Folge durfte sich die Stëmm vun der Strooss über großzügige Unterstützung im Rahmen des inzwischen traditionellen Velooccasiounsmaart in der Belle Etoile freuen.

Wie jedes Jahr wurde die Stëmm auf Initiative von Manu Konsbruck, dem Direktor der Belle Etoile, eingeladen, gemeinsam mit dem Verein Catch a Smile ehrenamtlich an dieser solidarischen Veranstaltung teilzunehmen. Im Gegenzug wurden pro verkauftem Fahrrad 5 € an jede der beiden Organisationen gespendet – insgesamt konnte ein Betrag von 9.005 € gesammelt werden, dank dem Verkauf von 1.801 gebrauchten Fahrrädern, die alle einen neuen Besitzer gefunden haben.

Bereits ab 8 Uhr morgens engagierten sich zahlreiche Freiwillige im Parkhaus der Belle Etoile, um die Fahrräder entgegenzunehmen. Die Stëmm konnte auf die Unterstützung ihrer internen Ehrenamtlichen, von Schülern sowie von Mitarbeitenden mehrerer Partnerunternehmen zählen – darunter Sodexo, Fidelity International, Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola und viele weitere. Alle arbeiteten in herzlicher Atmosphäre zusammen, um den Bedürftigsten zu helfen.
Die offizielle Scheckübergabe fand am 19. Mai 2025 in der Belle Etoile statt, in Anwesenheit der Direktorin der Stëmm, Alexandra Oxacelay. Sie drückte ihre tiefe Dankbarkeit gegenüber Manu Konsbruck für das über die Jahre entgegengebrachte Vertrauen aus und freut sich bereits auf die nächste Ausgabe.

Press Release: Velooccasiounsmaart – once again a great success!

For the fifth consecutive year, Stëmm vun der Strooss had the pleasure of receiving generous support as part of the now traditional Velooccasiounsmaart held at Belle Etoile.

As in previous years, and on the initiative of Manu Konsbruck, Director of Belle Etoile, Stëmm was invited to take part in this charitable event on a voluntary basis, in collaboration with the association Catch a Smile. In return, €5 was donated to each of the two organizations for every bicycle sold. A total of €9,005 was raised through the sale of 1,801 second-hand bicycles, all of which found a new owner.

From 8 a.m. onwards, numerous volunteers gathered in the underground parking of Belle Etoile to receive the bicycles for sale. Stëmm was able to count on the commitment of its internal volunteers, students, and employees from several partner companies, including Sodexo, Fidelity International, Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola, and many others. All joined forces in a warm and friendly atmosphere to help those most in need.

The official check presentation took place on May 19, 2025, at Belle Etoile, in the presence of Stëmm’s director, Alexandra Oxacelay. She expressed her deep gratitude to Manu Konsbruck for his continued trust over the years and is already looking forward to participating in the next edition.
