Quality Control Technician (m / f / d)
The Quality Control Technician ensures the quality and compliance of products and components through the execution of calibration, product and component release activities. This role supports operational quality by performing and documenting activities across calibration and release processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities
Calibration & Measurement Equipment
• Monitor, calibrate, and maintain measuring and testing equipment according to internal procedures and quality standards.
• Plan and procure new measurement and test equipment as needed.
• Perform calibrations, adjustments, retrospective assessments
• Register and update equipment in monitoring software; manage records and documentation.
• Coordinate and control external calibration services and verify laboratory certifications.
• Create and update calibration instructions and protocols.
Product & Component Release
• Apply test procedures and plans to release new or customized products and components.
• Plan, execute, and report on product and component release and customer validation activities.
• Prepare test units, evaluate results, and distribute reports to relevant departments.
• Test new components or sample during the development process or technical changes
Education: Secondary diploma or higher in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in production or quality environment with high quality standards.
Skills:

• Effective listening, information sharing, and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and perform multiple activities effectively to meet deadlines.
Technical Knowledge:
• Understanding of engineering drawings, product documentation, and quality methods.
• Knowledge of measurement techniques
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical inspection methods.
• Proficient in MS Office 365.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German and/or French is an asset.
