Context
In a context of industrial transformation and continuous innovation, we are creating a new Global Head of Procurement role to lead and shape the global purchasing strategy across the Group. This high-impact leadership role will directly influence industrial performance, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience at group level.
You will define and lead a global procurement strategy that directly impacts operational performance, cost competitiveness, and supply chain resilience across the Group. You will also play a key role in driving transformation, digitalization, and supplier ecosystem development.

What you will do
On-Time Delivery & Planning Coordination
• Develop and implement robust procurement strategies to ensure the timely availability of materials and services.
• Collaborate with production, sales, planning, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with operational needs.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively anticipate delays or supply disruptions.
Cost Control & Economies of Scale
• Reduce costs through strategic sourcing, volume consolidation, and supplier panel optimization.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery.
• Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) and establish effective cost control measures.
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all purchased goods and services meet quality standards.
• Work closely with the Quality department to evaluate and approve suppliers.
• Implement regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
Performance Management
• Define and monitor procurement KPIs internally and externally.
• Use data insights to drive continuous performance and process improvements.
• Deliver clear, actionable reports to senior leadership.
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing procurement team.
• Create an environment based on accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
• Set clear objectives and support team members in achieving them.
Negotiation & Supplier Relationships
• Lead complex, high-stakes international negotiations to secure optimal economic, technical, and logistical conditions
• Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key global suppliers
• Oversee contract lifecycle management, including negotiations, renewals, and compliance
• Influence internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and successful execution of sourcing strategies
Data, Systems & Procurement Excellence
• Leverage data analytics (KPIs, TCO, supplier performance) to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across procurement systems
• Manage procurement processes through ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), ensuring efficiency and reliability
• Drive standardization of tools, processes, and reporting across teams
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities through data and system insights
Global Procurement Transformation
• Build and strengthen a global procurement network across countries
• Drive standardization and best practice sharing across the Group
• Lead continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems
• Leverage new technologies (AI, analytics, advanced sourcing tools) to accelerate transformation
