La Stëmm vun der Strooss tient à remercier chaleureusement l’hôtel NH Luxembourg Airport, qui a récemment pris l’initiative de faire don de 81 matelas de très bonne qualité. NH Luxembourg Airport avait contacté l’association afin de mettre ce matériel à disposition d’organisations sociales.
Suite à cette proposition, Alexandra Oxacelay, directrice de la Stëm, a immédiatement mobilisé son réseau afin d’assurer une redistribution rapide et utile de ces matelas auprès de structures engagées dans l’aide aux personnes vulnérables.
Grâce à cette coordination, les matelas ont pu être répartis comme suit :
– Kiwanis Children’s Fund : 51 matelas destinés à soutenir la population ukrainienne réfugiée, et plus particulièrement les enfants touchés par la guerre en Ukraine.
– CNDS Wunnen – projet Housing First : 10 matelas pour soutenir l’accès au logement de personnes en situation de grande précarité.
– Stëmm vun der Strooss : 20 matelas pour ses différentes structures sociales et ses projets d’accompagnement.
La distribution a été organisée le mercredi 4 mars au NH Hotel Luxembourg Airport à Senningerberg, en présence des différents partenaires.
Cette action illustre l’importance des collaborations entre entreprises et acteurs du secteur social, permettant de donner une seconde vie à du matériel de qualité tout en apportant un soutien concret aux personnes dans le besoin.

Die Stëmm vun der Strooss möchte sich herzlich beim Hotel NH Luxembourg Airport bedanken, das kürzlich die Initiative ergriffen hat, 81 Matratzen von sehr guter Qualität zu spenden. NH Luxembourg Airport hatte den Verein kontaktiert, um dieses Material sozialen Organisationen zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Nach diesem Angebot mobilisierte Alexandra Oxacelay, Direktorin der Stëmm, sofort ihr Netzwerk, um eine schnelle und sinnvolle Weiterverteilung dieser Matratzen an Einrichtungen sicherzustellen, die sich für die Unterstützung von besonders vulnerablen Menschen einsetzen.
Dank dieser Koordination konnten die Matratzen wie folgt verteilt werden:
– Kiwanis Children’s Fund: 51 Matratzen zur Unterstützung der ukrainischen Flüchtlingsbevölkerung, insbesondere der vom Krieg in der Ukraine betroffenen Kinder.
– CNDS Wunnen – Projekt Housing First: 10 Matratzen zur Unterstützung des Zugangs zu Wohnraum für Menschen in besonders prekären Lebenssituationen.
– Stëmm vun der Strooss: 20 Matratzen für ihre verschiedenen sozialen Einrichtungen und Begleitprojekte.
Die Verteilung wurde am Mittwoch, den 4. März, im NH Hotel Luxembourg Airport in Senningerberg in Anwesenheit der verschiedenen Partner organisiert.
Diese Aktion verdeutlicht die Bedeutung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Unternehmen und Akteuren des sozialen Sektors. Sie ermöglicht es, hochwertigem Material ein zweites Leben zu geben und gleichzeitig Menschen in Not konkret zu unterstützen.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss would like to warmly thank the NH Luxembourg Airport Hotel, which recently took the initiative to donate 81 mattresses of very good quality. NH Luxembourg Airport had contacted the association to make this equipment available to social organizations.
Following this proposal, Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of the Stëmm, immediately mobilized her network to ensure a rapid and meaningful redistribution of these mattresses to organizations committed to supporting vulnerable people.
Thanks to this coordination, the mattresses were distributed as follows:
– Kiwanis Children’s Fund: 51 mattresses to support the Ukrainian refugee population, particularly children affected by the war in Ukraine.
– CNDS Wunnen – Housing First project: 10 mattresses to support access to housing for people in situations of severe hardship.
– Stëmm vun der Strooss: 20 mattresses for its various social structures and support programs.
