14/01/2025 Interview Tali

D'Zäit nom Eurovision Song Contest verleeft fir jiddereen e bëssen anescht. Fir d'Tali ass alles ganz smooth gelaf. Hatt hätt vill Concerte kënne spillen a sech perséinlech a kënschtleresch enorm weiderentwéckelt: "Now I really have the luxury to just let my inspiration flow, really write what comes and really just be focused on one thing, which is the magic. And I think that the music is way better than before Eurovision. If you compare my writing: The amount of growth is insane."

Dee gréissten Ënnerscheed zu virdrun: D'Tali kann elo vun der Musek liewen a muss net nach u säi College denken oder niewebäi schaffe goe fir sech finanziell iwwer Waasser ze halen. Déi Professionalitéit bréngt dann och mat sech, dass d'Kënschtlerin elo eng ganz Songwriting-Ekipp hannert sech huet: "It is incredible to write in a professional setting. Before I was an independent artist and I was writing on my own. But then having this whole team behind me that was cheering me on for my writing and my words, was the biggest dream ever. So that's been really cool."

Den 28. Februar spillt d'Tali seng éischt grouss Headline-Show am Atelier! D'Preparatioune si voll ëmgaangen a lafe richteg gutt. Nodeems d'Sängerin beim LSC a beim ESC, wat d'Show betrëfft, natierlech net esouvill kënschtleresch Fräiheeten hat, këmmert d'Tali sech fir de Concert am Atelier komplett selwer ëm de Funding an d'Produktioun - engersäits ustrengend, anerersäits extrem erfëllend: "I think the amount of control that I have, is something that I haven't experienced in a while. In the Eurovision you had a little bit of control, but at the end of the day it's their choice, artistically speaking. So Atelier is definitely gonna be something, where I am in the driver's seat and I get to decide how I want this universe to look. I'm very excited."

De 17. Januar fänkt dem Tali seng Karriär nom ESC esou richteg un. Dëse Freide bréngt d'Kënschtlerin nämlech en éischt Lidd vun enger neier EP eraus. Ee Song doraus geet an d'Richtung vu "Fighter", well en och mat där selwechter Songwriterin entstanen ass. Déi aner Lidder ginn e bësse méi an d'Indie-Richtung: "Most of the other songs are more indie pop, influenced by Billie Eilish, Rosalía or Lizzy McAlpine. They're more like I naturally write, which is super exciting. I hope people like it. It's definitely still pop in style, but a bit more indie and chill I'd say. So it's three ballads and three upbeat songs - and that's all I'm gonna say."

Säi ganz Liewe laang ass d'Tali duerch d'Welt gereest. Thematesch dréint déi nei EP dowéinst haaptsächlech ëm déi konstant Sich no engem Doheem an enger Identitéit, a wat dat fir Challenges mat sech bréngt, wäit ewech vu sengen Elteren ze sinn. Passend dozou huet d'Tali "Dear Parents" a ville Studioe queesch duerch d'Welt opgeholl: "While recording this EP, I travelled around the world to talk about travelling around the world. So it's really really cool. For example, we recorded one of the songs here in New York, which talks about the challenges in New York and how much I struggled as an artist here. And then I'm singing it a year later at a studio in New York with all this incredible succes from Eurovision. There were just a lot of full circle moments."

No de groussen TV-Produktiounen a -Performances um LSC an ESC freet d'Tali sech enorm an deem méi intime Kader vum Atelier live ze spillen a ganz no bei senge lëtzebuergesche Fans ze sinn: "Den Atelier was the perfect choice for this. I love the intimacy of it and how much you can get to know the artist. And also it's my dream venue. Growing up I've always thought Atelier was huge with my little Tali girl's eyes and now I'm here. So I definitely wanted to hit that in my bucket list."
