Besonnesch glécklech hu se net ausgesinn, déi Hären Helminger, Reich, Forson a Strauss, wéi se do soutzen an ausgerechent déi islännesch Footballsequipe als Virbild vun Dynamissem gelueft hunn. Herno huet et geheescht, si wiere midd gewierscht vu laange Gespréicher. Soit. De Paul Helminger sot, den Dirk Reich giff wirklech exklusiv aus perséinleche Grënn goen. Kee Wuert iwwer deem seng komplizéiert Bezéiung mat de Gewerkschaften an och kee Wuert iwwer säin déckkäppegt Wiesen. Re-soit.

Den Dirk Reich huet e bëssen ugedeit, wéi et him esou war an de leschten Joren. Hie wier mat der Famill virdru schonn an d'Schwäiz gezunn wéint senger Aarbecht, Lëtzebuerg wier ëmmer eng "Besuchsbezéiung" bliwwen.

E bëssen Turbulenzen giff et ginn, sot hien, mä mat Flexibilitéit kéim een do eraus.

Dann nach dat hei: 2016 gëtt wuel net esou gutt fir d'Cargolux wéi 2015, mä se wëllen dynamesch-kreativ-islännesch sinn an engem schwéiere Match.

De Maxim Strauss ass e jonke Lëtzebuerger, dee sech selwer esou beschreift: Hie wier een Aborigene bei der Cargolux, hätt schonn 11 Joer do geschafft an eng Rei CEOe passéiere gesinn. Dat beinhalt och d'Kris 2009, den Change-Plang mat de Qatarien an elo den neien Aktionären mat de Chinesen. Hien hätt sech an de leschte Joren ëm d'Aarbecht mat der Regierung bekëmmert, ëm Fluchrechter, also ëm alles, wat Spezialprojete wieren.

Management Changes at Cargolux

Luxembourg, 30 June 2016 – Dirk Reich, President and CEO, has decided to leave Cargolux for personal reasons and has asked the Board of Directors for the early termination of his contract.

He will leave Cargolux at the end of July.

Richard Forson, Executive Vice-President and CFO, has been nominated as the company's new President and CEO with effect as of August 1st. Mr. Forson joined Cargolux in February 2012.

Maxim Strauss, Vice-President Corporate Development, is nominated Executive Vice-President and CFO as replacement for Richard Forson. Mr. Strauss has been with the company since January 2006.

The fact that internal nominations have been made to accommodate Mr. Reich's departure is an assertive signal of the strength of the management team at Cargolux that will continue to pursue the objectives of continued and sustainable growth and innovation as the 'Global Cargo Carrier of Choice'.

Paul Helminger, Chairman of the Board of Director, says: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Dirk for his significant contribution to the success and development of Cargolux, especially in China, but also elsewhere. His passion and dedication contributed largely to setting us on a path of growth to become a truly global player. His enthusiasm and vision have opened up a new world for Cargolux, a world in which we aspire to be 'the Global Cargo Carrier of Choice'. I am personally sad to see Dirk leaving us, but I respect his decision that is based on personal reasons beyond the air cargo business and the Cargolux family. I wish Dirk all the best for his professional and personal future and I am sure that he will remain a valued friend of the Cargolux.

At the same time, I welcome Richard Forson as the new President and CEO and Maxim Strauss as new CFO, both experienced within Cargolux and the industry."
